Stone Valley Middle School PTA is offering a $500 scholarship award for a graduating High School Senior who is an alumnus of Stone Valley Middle School (SVMS). The scholarship seeks to recognize a former SVMS student who has made a positive impact through volunteering, both in our schools and community.

All applications must be received by Monday, April 17, 2023.

Qualifications:

● Attended and been promoted from Stone Valley Middle School in Alamo, CA

● Graduating from a San Ramon Valley Unified School District high school

● Membership in the PTA/PTSA unit at his/her high school is encouraged but not required; special consideration will be given to applicants involved in their PTA/PTSA

● Plan to attend an accredited college, university, community college, trade or technical school following graduation from high school

● Volunteered at his/her high school or in the community

To Apply:

● Complete the Stone Valley Middle School Scholarship application in this Google Form

● Submit one letter of reference from a high school counselor, school principal, teacher, or community member. Refence letters must be emailed directly to Jennifer Logue at SVMSPride1959@gmail.com.

Selection, notification, and presentation:

Application responses will be reviewed and scored by a panel of PTA members and staff. The award winner will be notified by phone or email by May 1st. The scholarship award will be presented at the Stone Valley Awards Night on May 18, 2023.
