2024 Entertainment Application

42nd Annual Allen Park Arts and Crafts Street Fair will be August 2nd and 3rd 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Please complete this Google form as this years application. You will be notified via email if accepted or rejected by June 1st at the latest.  If Accepted, you will be given additional instructions.

Entertainment Information:

Hours: Noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday

Main Stage Entertainment:

The Allen Park Street Fair offers groups and band an opportunity to participate on one of two stages. The Main Stage is located at Allen Road and Roosevelt; the second stage is located at Allen Road and Southfield. Criteria for selecting entertainment includes the type of music, sound requirements, pricing, availability and suitability for the event. The Allen Park Street Fair provides a sound tech for the event. All other instrumentation must be provided by the group.

Street Performers:

Street performers consist of stilt-walkers, jugglers, walking bands, vaudevillian’s, etc. They are selected for suitability for performance at the event and quality of entertainment. Street performers may set up a performance area which will be assigned by the Commission. Performers will also be allowed to roam the fair and may be present both Friday and Saturday. All instrumentation and sound systems must be provided by the performer. Electricity may be available in limited areas.

Event Rules:

All applications are reviewed by the Festivities Commission who will make final selections. You will be notified of your status by the Commission.
Event participants agree to allow the use of videos and photographs taken at the event for promotional purposes.
Installation and operation of any exhibits not approved by the Commission is prohibited.
Please note on your application if there are days/times you are unable to participate.
Rain or shine: This is an outdoor event.
Bands are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled start time. 30 minutes will be allotted between performers. Please be prepared to set-up and tear down swiftly.
If accepted you will receive a formal written contract for your signature.
Performers are responsible for their equipment. Please do not leave instruments or support equipment unguarded. The City of Allen Park/Allen Park Festivities Commission is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to equipment.
