Native Americans In Tech
PDXWIT has launching a group under its umbrella dedicated to supporting Native Americans currently working in tech or hoping to work in tech.

This community is focused on indigenous people of North America. This includes Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives, First Nations, Inuit, Métis, and so on. This group is for folks that have a grounding in their Native American identity. We want to welcome the varied experiences of indigeneity for those that have had barriers in reclaiming their culture, while also centering the experiences of indigenous people that are rooted in their ways. We will not be gatekeepers; instead, we want to set a shared understanding of the space and ask for folks to show up in a good way.

This group will aim to provide the following:
+Networking groups and happy hours
+Educational Events
+Mentorship
+Scholarships to support professional development and education
