SD22 are offering a formal high performance training academy for grade 8 to 12 male and female athletes that operates in the school timetable, with a commitment to academic and athletic excellence.
Schedule:
September 2021 through January 2022 at the Vernon Toyota Indoor Sports Centre
September to October is 'outdoor' training on Marshall Fields, October to January is 'indoor'
The School academy includes 2 programs:
Junior - Grades 8 to 9
Senior - Grades 10 to 12
Students/Athletes are bussed from their home school to and from the Soccer Centre
Students remain in their home school in SD22 for all other curriculum courses and subjects
Students attend the centre for 1/2 days Monday to Friday, the equivalent of two time table blocks that rotate weekly from morning to afternoon sessions.
The SD22 Soccer Academy Head Coach David Broadhurst will be supported by the coaching staff of the Thompson Okanagan FC Academy (TOFC) Jason Thompson (TOFC Technical Director) and Kai Tolpinrud (TOFC General Manager and GK coach) for all on field sessions.

TOFC are an elite youth club that compete in the BC Soccer Premier League, The highest level of youth soccer competition in the province of BC. For more details regarding the Thompson Okanagan Football Club please access tofc.ca

All accepted players will be asked to commit to the following payment information:

Payment 1 - $450 + tax deposit upon registration
Payment 2 - $500 + tax due September 1, 2020.
Payment 3 - $500 + tax due November 1, 2020.
David Broadhurst will confirm payment options once you have been notified of a successful application.

Apparel: All new players require a training kit consisting of 2 training jerseys, shorts, socks (need to input cost)
An optional tracksuit will also be available for purchase (need to input cost)
