Welcome to the Lynchburg Public Library's first digital escape room! The story is a tribute to the "old school" Turkey Day/Harvest Festival events in the Animal Crossing video game series, but you do not need to have played any of the video games in order to enjoy this free escape experience! The room consists of a simple plot involving five short puzzles. There may be a reward for you at the end...
You can complete this escape room by yourself or with friends. There is no in-game timer, but it would be fun to time yourself and then challenge a friend to beat your time!
This escape experience was created by Victoria Winfree, Youth Services Librarian and co-creator of the Library's popular, in-person Stranger Things and Harry Potter escape rooms that debuted in 2019, and the Library's The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening-inspired virtual escape room from Feb. 2021, available here:
