Volunteer!
As a volunteer to Research Laboratory 2021, you are agreeing to fulfill a Session Support role for ONE session of the conference (Keynote (1 hour), Presentation (1 hour), or Workshop (1.5 hours) ).  

The job of Session Support is to assist the Presenter of one of the conference sessions.  You could be called upon to help with time-keeping, or to watch chat windows for questions.  If you've helped run Zoom meetings in the past, and know how to tell time, you've probably got the skillset we need.

As compensation for your service, your admission fee for RL2021 will be waived (or refunded).

Volunteers will be expected to attend an organizational meeting prior to the conference to get familiar with the schedule and the Whova platform.  We will make every effort to align you to a session you either want to see, or at least to avoid scheduling you against one you want to see.

By submitting this application, I agree to attend the Volunteer organizational meeting (currently scheduled Thursday, June 3 at 6pm CDT) at which point I will be assigned a session to facilitate.  Once assigned, I agree to attend that session and assist the presenter as necessary.  I agree to contact one of the conference organizers in the event of any problem.  In return for my service, I will be granted a free admission to the conference and can attend any event as long as it does not interfere with my responsibility to the session to which I am assigned. *
