Want to get some volunteer hours this summer? How about the library? Teens 14-18 can shelve books and help with summer reading events. It’s a fun way to earn silver cord hours! Just fill out the Volunteer Application on the library’s website, then plan to attend one of the training sessions. At training, we make sure you know how to shelve books and we talk about schedules for summer. Not quite 14 yet but want to help? Consider joining TICOS, our Junior Optimist Club. This club is open to any student entering 6th grade in the fall through high school. They help with Avenue of Flags and other events through the summer.
