Thank you for inquiring about the volunteer opportunities with the American Chemical Society at the University of Houston!

ACS Tutors gain valuable volunteer hours for resumes and/or health occupation applications while helping peers succeed in chemistry. Even better, you reinforce your knowledge and understanding in the process.

ACS Tutors can also receive an hour verification form at the end of the semester. The form includes your start and end tutoring dates, the subject(s) you tutored, and your volunteer hours. This can be for a semester total or for a cumulative total of your hours.
