Please complete this form if you wish to notify the school that your child(ren) will be leaving the school (other than at the end of Nursery or Year 6).
After a child leaves school, we legally have to keep them on our register until we have confirmation from another school in the United Kingdom that the child has been placed on their register. This means that a child is legally required to attend school until the day that they begin at their new school. In order to get this confirmation, we will need to be provided with:
- the name of the new school
- the date when the child is expected to attending the new school
- the new home address
If your child is leaving our school because of a move out of the country, they will remain on our register until we have permission from the Local Authority to remove them. To obtain this permission, we will need the following information:
- the date of relocation
- the new home address
- the new school name and address
- a copy of the tickets for leaving the country
If this information is available now, you will be asked to provide it in this form. If you do not yet have this information, it can be provided later.
