Loan Finches should be used in pair programming, so 2 students working together with 1 robot - e.g. if you are using the Finches with a group of 30 students at a time you will need to borrow 15 Finches. You will also need 1 desktop, laptop, or Chromebook per Finch. Finches do not currently work with tablets.
