Tisha B'Av Art and Text Study (July 27, 2023)
Join A Mitzvah to Eat and artist educator Sara Laya Heller for text study and art creation. We will be exploring some Talmudic accounts of the time leading up to the destruction of the Temples and broadening our understanding of the meaning of the word Ta'anit (usually translated as fast day).
Please have paper, art supplies of your choosing, and tape or glue handy.
This event is open to those who are able to safely fast and as well as those who have a mitzvah to eat.
We are meeting at 8 am PT, 11 am ET, 4 pm BST, and 6 pm Israel time.

*As with all A Mitzvah to Eat fast day events, those needing to eat at the event are welcome to do so. Fasters who find it difficult to watch others drinking or eating might not find this event to be the right fit.
