How to participate: The following draft Priority Goals for Worcester's long-range citywide plan have emerged based on community and city engagement throughout 2022. Read the draft goals below and tell us what’s missing, if anything! A note about the format: Keep in mind that these Priority Goals are intentionally broad. They will each have detailed policy recommendations and actions nested below them in the final plan. Public review to refine recommendations and actions will be at the Draft Plan Open House in early 2023. About: Worcester Now | Next is an eighteen-month-long citywide planning process exploring issues such as housing, economic opportunity, transportation and mobility, among others. The final citywide plan will provide a coordinated roadmap for the future development and evolution of the city, and will establish a framework for more detailed studies down the road.
