3. How long will it take you to complete the project and how confident are you in this timeframe? *
The Process
We see this as a multi-step process:
1. Clearing the land of trees and foliage.

2. Preparing the land for chert - adding rock, removing roots and stumps, adding culverts, removing trees that are in or close to the chert zone, removing rotting trees, doing something with the cut trees and foliage so that they are gathered and moved into a location that makes sense, etc. - as warranted for proper preparation.

3. Placing the chert and any other work needed after the chert has hardened (leveling, adding a layer of gravel, etc.) Please include a description of how you lay the chert and how you will determine that the chert has hardened sufficiently to move forward with the final steps. Also comment on whether you think adding gravel is optional or essential and why?
4. Moving the RV onto the chert once it has hardened (the RV Trailer is a fifth wheel and requires a truck with a special setup in the back of it. Although sometimes the equipment used to clear the land can also be used to move an RV).

We would prefer to hire someone who can do all four steps, but will definitely consider hiring multiple service providers if necessary to get the job done well by qualified experienced people.
4. Please indicate which processes you are able to provide. *
Required
5. Please provide the cost for each of the processes listed in the previous question, that you are able to provide. Please identify each process and it's associated cost separately, so we are clear what is included in the cost and what is not included. *
6. Please provide a detail description of the steps you take in each process - the actions you take, materials you will use, etc. *
7. Please provide a detailed list of the materials (with quantities you are assuming in your bid) that you will use in each process. *
8. If you are off on your materials assumptions and you need more of them to finish the job, will that increase your charges or are you comfortable enough in your process and the bid, that your charges to us in this bid will be fixed/guaranteed? *
9. If you do not start the job on time or do not finish the job on time, what will you do about it, in terms of (a) providing additional resources to make up for the lost time and (b) providing some type of restitution for not starting or completing the job on-time. *
10.  Are you licensed/bonded/etc? Please provide the documentation for your professional credentials. Note: If you are not licensed/bonded, this may not disqualify your bid. But will be another factor in our consideration. *
11. Please provide the contact information - name, email, phone - of three client references for whom you have recently completed similar work. *
12. Please provide any other information you would like us to consider in making our decision, *
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
