2024 NCSHLA Awards Nomination Form
Thank you for taking the time to submit a nomination.  These are the awards, and descriptions of awards, typically offered by NCSHLA and presented at the spring conference.  NCSHLA reserves to right to not award any of these listed if no one fills the criteria.

·         State Clinical Achievement Award - NCSHLA selects a member to receive an award for recent (within the last three years) contributions to the advancement of clinical practice in speech-language pathology and audiology.

·         Student Achievement Award - NCSHLA selects a student for its annual educational achievement award on the basis of academic excellence and merit.  Students are awarded a scholarship (amount determined by sponsorships and donations).

·         SLP - Assistant of the Year Award - NCSHLA selects a SLP-A for its annual SLP-Assistant achievement award on the basis of accomplishment and merit.  

·         Honors of the Association - As NCSHLA's highest honor, the Honors Awards are conferred in recognition of consistent, long-term, distinguished contributions to the Association or to the communication disorders profession.

·         CSAP Nancy McKinley Leadership Award - This award is intended to recognize a member of a speech-language and hearing association for his/her/their exemplary contributions to their speech and hearing association (SHA). This individual should have demonstrated selfless dedication and commitment to the development of an initiative or program designed to promote the work of the SHA or professionals in the field of communication sciences and disorders.
