STEM in Fairy Tales
Nov 3 from 10 am - 12 pm
Held virtually. Zoom link will be sent out the day before.

How tall is the Giant from Jack in the Beanstalk?  How much weight can Rapunzel’s hair hold? Discover the answers as you explore the STEM in your favorite fairy tales. Using hands-on activities ranging from measurement and ratios to structure and function, this workshop will uncover science and engineering principles that are almost too good to be true.

Registration is requested by October 25 so that kits can be picked up or shipped ahead of time for up to 20 registrants.

*Workshops can accommodate 20 participants. Sharing a log-in and kit of materials is possible. Please contact Explora Reservations with questions - reservations@explora.us

This workshop is funded with the support of Sandia National Labs and offered at no cost to participants.
