2024 SRC Juror Interest Sign-Up!
Cal Poly is hosting the CSU-wide Student Research Competition in San Luis Obispo 4/26-4/27/24. The California State University Student Research Competition is an annual event that brings together scholars from the 23 campuses of our California State University system. The competition showcases undergraduate and graduate research, scholarship, and creative works by recognizing outstanding student accomplishments across the 23 campuses.

We are currently soliciting interest from potential jurors. Please share this solicitation widely.

If you are interested in serving as a juror for one or more sessions* during the competition, please indicate your interest by completing this form by end of day T 4/2/24.

* A session is typically 5-7 presentations. Each competitor will be given 10 minutes for their presentation and 5 minutes to respond to questions (15 minutes total). Each session will have at least two judges and a moderator. Presentations are judged on a 7-point scale. Jurors will identify first and second places in each session based on scores. Additional details to be provided once you have been assigned to a session.

Jurors will receive $100 per session in which they serve as judge, and have access to the full competition, including all meals and activities provided. (Please note: funding to support travel to the competition is not provided by Cal Poly SLO for potential jurors; however, parking passes will be provided, as needed.)

For more information, please see the competition website.
