A Masmorra é uma plataforma híbrida de produção cultural experimental que pretende contribuir para a cidade de Ponta Delgada com receptividade e inclusão através da arte. 

Entre os dias 19 e 30 de Setembro, a Masmorra lança uma open call para residências artísticas, aberta à participação de artistas individuais (nacionais e internacionais) residentes em Portugal, exclusiva à comunidade LGBTQIAP+. Serão selecionadas 10 propostas de qualquer área de expressão artística, das quais cinco vagas serão destinadas a artistas residentes na ilha de São Miguel, incentivando a criação artística local. Cada semana a Masmorra acolherá duas residências em simultâneo, juntando artistas locais e não locais, promovendo a partilha de ideias e processos criativos mais amplos. 

No apoio à seleção das propostas, a Masmorra convida o coletivo local de jovens artistas Atelineiras e a performer e artista multidisciplinar Tita Maravilha.

Masmorra is a hybrid platform for experimental cultural production that aims to contribute to the city of Ponta Delgada with receptivity and inclusion through art. Between the 19th and 30th of September, Masmorra launches an open call for artistic residencies, open to the participation of individual artists (national and international) residing in Portugal, exclusive to the LGBTQIAP+ community. 10 proposals will be selected from any area of ​​artistic expression, of which five will be allocated to artists residing on the island of São Miguel, encouraging local artistic creation. Each week Masmorra will host two residencies at the same time, bringing together local and non-local artists, promoting the sharing of ideas and broader creative processes. The local collective of young artists Atelineiras and the multidisciplinary artist and performer Tita Maravilha will support the selection of proposals.
