I will behave in an appropriate manner at all times.
I will try to always give my best, even if my energy and/or patience is being stretched.
I will treat all members of the group with respect and will seek to love those in my group and beyond.
I will be open to building friendships and inclusive to all of the members of the group. With this in mind, if I am already in a dating relationship with another participant, we will not behave in a way that is exclusive to others, taking away from the unity of the group. If I am not in a dating relationship, I will not start dating someone in the group for the duration of the pilgrimage.
I understand that I am called to live in purity and will act accordingly on this pilgrimage.
If I become aware that another is being hurt (in any way), harassed, or “bullied”, I will notify my group leader.
I will treat property with care. If I break something, I will tell my group leader.
I understand that it is illegal to purchase alcohol and tobacco products for those who are under 18 and will not do so at any point.
I will be grateful and respectful for all that is shared with you from other group members and our hosts.
I will be sensitive to the culture and story of others in the group and of course to our hosts.
I will respect all pilgrims’ right to personal privacy. I will be mindful of this especially when sharing private areas with others (that is, bedrooms and bathrooms).
I will sleep only in my allocated place.
If I become aware of any violation of this Code of Conduct by anyone, I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to notify a pilgrim leader and will do so as soon as possible.
