Participant Code of Conduct

Being on time or early to practice or performances.

Attendance is mandatory. If a dancer is not able to attend a practice, then he/she must notify the instructor prior to the date.

Setting a good example of sportsmanship. Dancers and parents will show respect for all involved including instructors, directors, other parents, and other dancers.

Disrespect may result in suspension of the dancer and/or parent from the dance program. This includes, but not limited to hitting, fighting, obscene or profane language, disruptive talking, repeated ridicule of another or inappropriate dress.

Willingness to accept directions including line placement and casting by dance instructors. Damage to personal or public property of any kind is strictly prohibited and is the sole responsibility and liability of the person or persons involved.

Violation of any of the above items may result in suspension or possible eviction from the St. Anthony’s Greek Folk Dance Program.

Immediate eviction from the dance program will result if the following conditions are committed by dancers. These offenses are, but not limited to:

Action gravely detrimental to the moral and spiritual welfare of the other dancers. Habitual profanity or vulgarity. Assault, battery or any threat of force or violence directed toward any dancer, parent or instructor. Open, persistent defiance of authority of the instructor. Continued willful disobedience. Any parent/dancer or other person who insults or abuses any instructors, in the presence or hearing of other dancers. Stealing. Excessive absences without prior arrangements made with the instructor. Use, sale or possession of narcotics, tobacco (under 18 years of age), and alcohol (under 21 years of age).
