BRIDGE Accountability/Coordinating Committee Application
Thank you for your interest in serving on the BRIDGE Accountability/Coordinating Committee! Essential to this committee is to steward and connect all BRIDGE activities through a race, gender and anti-poverty lens following our Boards Black Lives Matter commitment and our legacy of walking the talk of an anti-racist organization since our inception.

This official sub-committee of the Governance Committee, found in our 2019 revised Articles of Organization,  serves as a space to help coordinate volunteer activity that supports BRIDGE’s mission and programming, while working to deepen our individual and collective accountability in a multi-racial space of many intersecting identities. This is one of the BRIDGE spaces where conflicts will be addressed, circles will happen and voices of those historically marginalized will be heard. In our organization, accountability is at the center as a commitment and practice. Immediate request to leave for any violation of the shared commitment to disrupt white heteropatriarchal supremacy that interferes and disrupts the leadership, mission and voice of the organization. Circle practice will be an essential component.

Application Questions
We are eager to have you join us so please take a moment to review the following questions. Our policy to review applications is to have a resume, CV or bio (highlighting professional experience that could support service on the committee) and a letter of interest that includes, but is not limited to, answering the following questions:

1. After reviewing our mission and programs and Accountability intentions, what contributions and attributes will you bring to the BRIDGE Accountability/Coordinating Committee in its governance and composition? What attracts you to working on behalf of BRIDGE in our local community and across and the region?
2. What pieces of BRIDGE’s community/volunteer activities are you helping to hold/steer?
3. How do you understand BRIDGE’s accountability core value and how do you maintain accountability within your work with the organization?  When have you met a growth opportunity (an “edge”) in the intention to live into your accountability and what concrete changes have you made towards growth?
4. Outline what affiliations you have that you might be able to leverage for BRIDGE Development and BRIDGE's collaborative , /cooperative model. Also, identify what conflicts of interest may exist so we can continue to make a huge impact in our community and in our global society as it relates to integrating diverse communities, social justice and equity through training, fellowship, advocacy and education.
5. Beyond these answers and a resume, CV or bio, please tell us about yourself, your strengths, and what you are passionate about as we aim to have fun and make meaningful connections among volunteers, staff, and constituents at BRIDGE as well as in the broader community.
6. Which areas are you interested in representing on our Accountability in Governance subcommittee? Check as many as apply.
