The District Skill Committee under Dc Office Serchhip is pleased to announce the first Serchhip District Skill Competition -2023. This competition aims to encourage and support  students and youth to learn new skills like Handicraft, Carpentry Making, Painting, Singing, Scientific Projects, Electrical Equipment's and  New Startup Ideas. Students and youth can win up to  41,000 Rs. total  cash prizes and a certificate of participation from Dc Office Serchhip. We aim to create a skilling and entrepreneurship friendly culture in the Serchhip district. We also believe that our students and youth will take this opportunity to learn and hone their skills.

District Skill Competition has two categories : Junior and Senior 

A. Junior  Group (9th to 12th Std )

      1. Handicraft/ Carpentry - (Best Student Award  - 7000 Rs)

      2. Painting - (Best Student Award  - 7000 Rs)

      3. Singing - (Best Student Award  - 7000 Rs.)

B. Senior Group  (18 to 30 Age)

      1.  Scientific Projects or Electrical Equipment - (Best Student Award- 10,000 Rs )

      2.  New Startup Idea Pitching - (Best Student Award-  10,000 Rs )

Eligibility Criteria 

•   Students and youth have to be residents of Serchhip district. 

•   In the Junior Group only class 9th to 12th Std students can participate. 

•   In the Senior Group, students and youth between the 18 to 30 age can participate. 

•   In the Senior group, students can participate in groups also.
