Why volunteer with the PA?

* Become part of the school community
* Raise funds to improve School facilities and equipment
* Offer your time, knowledge and skills to create opportunities for St Olave’s students
* Get to know like-minded parents and make new friends

The success of the PA depends on parents like you, and there are lots of ways to get involved – whether during the school day, in the evenings or at weekends. Many of our roles do not require you to be available during the day. You can help just once or regularly, as your personal schedule permits.

Getting involved in the organisation of PA events or the running of the PA itself

Offering careers advice (at the careers fair, or giving a one-off talk to a group of students)

Serving refreshments at School events (e.g. parents’ evenings, concerts, open day)

Selling second-hand uniform at the School (one afternoon per half term)

Invigilating at the Mock Tests (May/June)

Being a Form Representative (maintain WhatsApp group and attend termly form rep meeting)
