    May Topic: Supporting Your Child Through Friendship Troubles

    Wednesday, May 3, 8:15-9:15 a.m. in the PERKINSON ARTS CENTER (Note NEW LOCATION)

    • Few things are more distressing to parents than hearing a child reporting friendship woes. Children feel slights and betrayals so keenly, and trying to help a child deal with their friendship issues lands parents in a difficult position. Should you intervene? Should the parents gather and try to help problem solve? Should your family change schools?  Our love for our children causes us to become very concerned when our children are struggling.
    • At this last Dragon Dialogue of the school year, Dr. Kim Hilton, Merrill Geier, and Jessica Stargell will share their combined experience of many years, offer some useful advice (we hope!), and lend a sympathetic ear.
