Southbank Student Poll Commission
Identifying issues and sentiments of the students on the Southbank campus is an important part of the University of Melbourne's Student Union. In order to address issues, UMSU is conducting a student poll to identify key issues that Southbank may have.

To do this we are commissioning "Student Poll", an artwork that functions as a polling device, in hopes to identify what we need to fix in the campus.

This concept is inspired by artwork in the past such as Hans Haacke’s MOMA Poll. Where visitors were asked to respond to the question Haacke posed: Would the fact that Governor Rockefeller has not denounced President Nixon’s Indochina policy be a reason for you not to vote for him in November?’

Like Haacke, we are looking for an artist to make an art installation which addresses VCA's issues.
