I am asking for your support in opposing the proposed development application (DA2021/0181) at the Glenlee (Lugarno Farm) precinct in favour of handing this space to the community to preserve the intrinsic social, cultural and environmental significance.

I have written directly to Georges River Council, the Member for Banks, David Coleman MP, as well as the Minister for Energy and Environment, Matt Kean MP, and Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, Rob Stokes MP, to express the concerns of our community.

Now, I am calling on you to sign my petition to highlight the scale of this issue and the importance of allowing Glenlee to become a public green space for all to enjoy.

This space has been a part of the Lugarno community since 1910 and we must fight to ensure that its heritage, cultural history and environmental benefits are preserved for generations to come.
