An opportunity to engage with Nigel Topping, the UN High Level Climate Champion for COP26, who is embarking on a project in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, to develop a study in response to an initiated Grace relating to fossil fuel industry ties.
8 postdocs are required to participate in a focus group discussion. Ideally from a discipline that would be affected by the grace, you will attend one virtual 1-hour meeting (recorded) before end of March 2023. During the meeting, Nigel would like to delve into the following questions:
1. What is the university's mission when it comes to climate change?
2. What is the university's current and future role in the transition?
3. How would the transition impact the university in terms of funding, research, delivery, reputation, and academic freedom?
4. Any further comments
If you are a Cambridge postdoc and interested in participating, please complete this form by 12noon Thursday 2nd March.
For any questions about the group, please contact Andrea Davila, andrea.davila@manuia.net
