All Island Art Show Entry Form
Please fill in this entry form for the Haida Gwaii All Island Art Show BY APRIL 18TH, 2021.

Entry requirements can be found here:  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1J6JmxDmRGzJg_o75k_Uw-IczXUaTZb3N/view?usp=sharing (PLEASE READ THEM BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY FORM!)

Please deliver READY TO HANG & LABELLED (Name of artist & title of art work) artwork to the Haida Gwaii Museum (Temporary Exhibit Space) in Skidegate on:

Saturday April 17th from 10 PM – 4:00 PM
Sunday April 18th from 10 AM – 4 PM

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept incomplete and/or late artwork as this would interfere with the hanging of the show.

CHANGES IN DROP OFF SPACE: We will be accepting art directly from the side door that leads into the Temporary Gallery in order to minimize traffic through the Haida Heritage Centre lobby & hallways.  There will be signage on the ground regarding physical distancing requirements.  We request that submitting artists wear a mask, sanitize their hands and keep 6 feet/2m apart from folks that are not part of their "bubble" while handing in their art.

NO PARTICIPATION FEE - ONE WAY WE ARE GIVING BACK TO ARTISTS! We are waving the participation fee this year!

COVID MATTERS
The Haida Gwaii Museum, in keeping with the CHN guidelines for the pandemic, will only be admitting people for in person visits through booking a time slot for you and the members of your "bubble".  For in person viewing of the show, please book a time for your visit with Lynn from the Museum Trading House by phoning 250-559-4643.  Spaces are limited.  Bookings for May 1st and 2nd will be reserved for artists and their families/bubbles and will be taken as of April 18th.  All other bookings can be made as of March 31st.

Opening Night - online event

Saturday May 1st (time to be determined - will be posted on our Facebook page and website)

Our AIAS opening night will be different this year.  We will take you on a guided tour of our virtual gallery on May 1st from the comfort of your home as we broadcast it on our local Cable TV, Facebook page and YouTube channel. We would like to encourage each artist to submit a short (up to 2 minute) video of themselves, with their artwork, talking about their process or reading their artist statement.  Artists are not required to show themselves on the video if they are not comfortable with that.  If you do not wish to submit a video, then someone from the AIAS staff/volunteers may film your artwork and read your artist statement on your behalf.  We are planning on having a videographer/photographer present during the drop off days for artists who would like to film their statement then. This will be subject to time availability so we do encourage artists who can to submit their own in advance of the drop off dates (before April 18th).

Check our Facebook page for details & links to the live online event.

Thank you for submitting your work to the All Island’s Art Show!
