Understanding Europe Belgium is looking for new trainers in Belgium to conduct Crash Courses as part of its peer-to-peer educational project.
Who are we looking for?We are looking for young people aged between 18 and 25 years who live in Belgium and would like to engage in one or both of the following topics by delivering an interactive Course to young pupils. Our courses are meant for pupils from the 4th year of secondary education onwards from general as well as vocational schools in Belgium.
What do we offer? Gaining experience in non-formal political youth education

Trainings in method- and content related issues
reimbursement of train tickets to and from the crash courses.
What should you bring with you? Motivation and ability to work actively and on equal footing together with pupils
A reflective approach to diversity and diverse experiences
Solid knowledge about the European Union
Reliable and independent work ethic
Experience in leading youth groups and moderating seminars is an advantage
The possibility to give courses on flexible hours (conducting a Course takes about half a working day plus travel time to the school)
Trainer responsibilityWe want to prepare our new trainers with a training. The training will take place on 13-15 October. After the training two trainers together conduct Courses in schools and communicate with the teachers independently beforehand. The project of Understanding Europe is incorporated in the framework of the European Youth Parliament Belgium.
