CCNS Registration Form - Individual Registration Form
This form is to be completed for each individual selected singer by their parent/guardian ONLY AFTER the recommending conductor/teacher has submitted your recommendation.  You don't have to be in a choir to take part in CCNS - but your school music teacher can still recommend you. (And if your teacher/school/choir has an NSCF membership, you get a discount).  If you are a singer who cannot find a recommending teacher/conductor, please complete below email anne@nscf.ca 

INSTRUCTIONS - PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY

1. COMPLETE and submit this form NO LATER than February 14, 2025 to register in the Children's Chorus of Nova Scotia.
 
2. The deadline by which all forms and payment must be received is February 14, 2025.  Late submissions will be put on the waiting list.

3. MUSIC folders will be forwarded to recommended singers by their conductor once all forms and payments have been received. Singers not affiliated with a choir will receive their music directly once all forms and payments have been received. Singers must work on the music prior to the regional rehearsals as it is critical they be familiar with all notes and rhythms.  Practice recordings will be made available on the CCNS webpage.

4. REGIONAL REHEARSALS will be determined by the number of chorister registrations from a particular area.  Schedule for rehearsals:
  • March 22, 2025 - HRM (Grace United Church, Dartmouth) 1:00-5:00pm
  • March 22, 2025 - New Glasgow (Trinity United Church) 9:00am-1:00pm
  • March 29, 2025 -  Kentville (St. James Anglican Church) 9:00am- 1:00pm
  • March 29, 2025 - Sydney 1:00pm - 5:00pm (location TBC)
Please indicate in your the registration form which rehearsal location you plan to attend so we can plan for seating, volunteers, etc. 

Attendance at one of the regional rehearsals is mandatory, and choristers who do not attend will be dismissed from the choir.
