Thank you for your interest in dancing with Carolina Dance Collaborative. Our mission is to make dance education accessible to all people regardless of location, ability, or resources and our scholarship program is one way we fulfill this. We are happy you are applying for a partial tuition scholarship! 
  • After submitting this form, please send us the required documents named at the end. This form is part 1 of your application; sending us your documents is part 2.  Your application is incomplete and cannot be reviewed until we receive your documents.
  • Please understand that we cannot promise that every applicant will receive a scholarship. Scholarships are determined based on many factors and we have limited scholarship funds. 
  • Emails are our primary way of communicating. We aim to notify you of your scholarship status at least 10-14 days before classes begin, so please check your email inbox often and respond in a timely way.

SOUTH CAROLINA - Links to class schedule are in blue. Submit this form and send required documents by the date listed for each program.
Summer Classes: Complete application by May 17th
Summer Camps: Complete application by May 20th 
(Note: For camps held at YMCAs, contact them directly.)
Schools/Clubs: Complete application by 3 weeks prior to first class (varies).

Complete Your Application
Submit this form plus required documents by the program application deadline (see above). Without required documents, your application is considered incomplete. We cannot review incomplete applications!

Review Period
Completed applications will be reviewed and awards will be determined as soon as possible. Our goal is to have scholarship students enrolled at least one full week before the class begins. 

Scholarship Award Notification
Recipients will be notified by email, at the gmail account used to complete this form, about their scholarship award and must accept their scholarship as instructed in award email. Failure to do so in a timely way will result in forfeiture of the scholarship offered. 
ELIGIBILITY and REQUIREMENTS
Scholarship applicants and recipients must:
  • Agree to pay a portion of Tuition. (We only award partial scholarships!)
  • Agree to pay the $30 Registration Fee (once) with the first enrollment during 2024-2025.
  • Agree to pay the balance due (or arrange a payment plan) before the first class.
  • Have an account on our registration site (link will be provided when scholarship has been accepted).
  • Be committed to regular attendance in the class for which you receive a scholarship, and communicate with us about absences.
  • Live or work in the area where our YMCA Programs are offered.
  • Be willing to consider a class change to help us with enrollment needs, if asked.
  • Volunteer, complete surveys, and provide testimonials when asked, if possible.
  • Reply to emails, according to aforementioned Application Timeline and Details.
