The objective of the Church On The Rock Ministries, Inc. is to provide well-rounded training for student's to prepare for the call of God on their life. Whether you want to take a course or two to enhance your understanding of a particular topic, receive your certification as a licensed minister or elder, or work toward receiving an associates degree in one of our degreed graduate programs, we can help you accomplish your goals.
It is our hope that each student uses the tools available through the school to fulfill their spiritual potential.
Sometimes in life, one may ask the question, “Why am I here?” The bible is clear that everyone channeled to the earth realm is here for a specific time and purpose. That purpose is to fulfill ministry that is God ordained for his or her life. However before coming into the fullness of the purpose of one’s life, like Jesus Himself, there is a preparation period that one must go through. Part of the preparation is education. For the Israelites, the goal of education was to prepare people to know God and live peacefully amongst one another. When it comes to fulfilling purpose, one must know the ways of God and His Word. It was Solomon who said it best, “In all thy getting, get an understanding!”
It is only at the point of preparation that one is ready to ‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.’ I want to encourage you as students, ‘to study to show thyself approved’ and to take advantage of the opportunity set before you to strive for what God has called you to be in this 21st century church, by getting prepared through education.
Do you feel the call in Matthew 28:19 to “go ye therefore, and teach all nations?” If so, we can help you to become fully rooted and grounded in The Word of God, which is essential to have the character necessary to impact this generation and the world. We take the guesswork out of it by offering foundational truths that any licensed minister should be knowledgeable of. Already a licensed minister? Two additional courses, along with a letter of recommendation from your pastor will make you eligible for an eldership license.

The Training for Service School of Ministry, along with Church on the Rock Ministries accepts students regardless of age, race, nationalities, and denominational backgrounds.
Do I have to attend Church on the Rock Ministries? Attendance at one of the ministry churches is NOT mandatory for our students. However, we believe strongly that the Bible encourages us to be committed to a local body of believers in a church. We encourage individuals who are not already connected to a local church to strongly consider attending a Church on the Rock ministry church. Students applying for licensing and ordination through Church on the Rock Ministries should be currently in good fellowship in their place of worship. Therefore, a letter of recommendation stating such is necessary prior to applying for licensing through our Bible College. Licensing and Ordination is done through the local assembly, and it is important that there has been accountability and a working relationship with an individual to properly evaluate their qualifications for such an association.
