Dartmoor Strings is a Ensemble for String players aged 10-18, grades 4-8+.

We will be running workshops twice a term on a Saturday from 2-4.30pm. We will be sending the music in advance together with videos to help you prepare so you will feel more confident and we can make the most of our session. Please see the website for dates and costs.

Run by professional string players and tutors, Lindsay Braga and Andrew Gillett, we want to help develop your sightreading, confidence, listening, performance skills, technique and have some fun making friends and making music.

You are welcome to come along to try a session before you commit to the rest of the year.

Children will be able to leave the rehearsal by themselves at the end to meet their parents. Any other arrangements need to be made directly with staff at the beginning of each session.

Please note that the venue we use is also a public building. Two members of staff will be onsite at all times. Young people will be able to leave the rehearsal to use the toilet facilities as required.
