COPA Webinar Inquiry Form
The Committee on Public Awareness (COPA) is seeking ideas and volunteers for webinars that meet COPA's mission to raise public awareness of archives and the value that archives and archivists add to business, government, education, and society as a whole. This form is to capture your ideas for webinars that fit COPA's focus and help archivists.

*Plans for enhancing public awareness of archives and/or archivists
*Ideas and activities for internal (within organizations) and external outreach
*Effective programs and activities for October (American Archives Month)
*Methods for tracking metrics associated with outreach activities
*How to write an effective press release
*How to use social media to improve public understanding and engagement with archives
*Digital collection case studies that experiment with how to provide a better collection engagement experience
*Promoting from within: how to encourage internal use of collections for legacy curation, branding, strategic planning, celebrations, donor cultivation, etc.
*How to advocate for the value of archives when faced with budget cuts and the threat of closing archives facilities
*How to define and articulate the value of archivists specific to compensation
