2024 Workshop Session
The 2024 Nebraska GetConnected Afterschool Conference will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at the Younes Conference Center in Kearney, NE.

Workshop sessions are 50 minutes long. We ask that you consider ways to actively engage session attendees as you plan the session and write this proposal.

If there will be more than one presenter listed on this application, the first person entered will be the primary contact and will receive ongoing communication from the conference planning committee. The primary contact is expected to communicate relevant information to others presenting during the session. You may enter up to three presenters on this form.

Conference participants will include afterschool program leaders and staff, community partners, administrators and business representatives. There will be approximately 450 in attendance the day of the conference.

Note: All workshop attendees will attend this year’s conference in-person. There will not be an option to join the sessions using technology. All workshop presenters will pay the registration fee of $90.00 and will be allowed to participate fully in all conference events, including breakfast and lunch.

Each break-out room will have a cart with a projector and wired microphone. Presenters will need to provide their own laptop for their presentation. Wireless internet is available to all conference participants. Taping materials on the walls during workshop sessions is not allowed.
