Glastonbury Community Fund Advisory Committee Application 
In 2019, the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving established $100,000 community funds for each of the 29 towns in the Foundation’s geographic region, which includes Glastonbury. The funds are earmarked to support residents in taking ownership of their town’s needs, to encourage broad and inclusive civic engagement, and to anchor the Foundation in each town.

The established funds must be handled by an Advisory Committee for the Glastonbury Greater Together Community Fund that is diverse and representative of all of its residents. The Advisory Committee, utilizing a grantmaking process, will identify a community need(s) that will be most beneficial to or have the greatest impact on a majority of town residents.
