2023 Artists Application - Canberra Burners Solstice

Are you new to Burning Man? Have you read about the 10 Principles and how they contribute to creating a Burn experience like no other? Watch the video below and Google 'Burning Man 10 Principles.'

Art and creative expression are the heart of Burner culture, and are a major element in every Burn. Koliada Szczodre Gody, a Canberra Burner Solstice, is no exception, and we invite you to create for your event: be it art, music, performance piece...the fire's the limit!

If you are interested in gifting a performance to this event, THANK YOU, but please be aware that by making an application you are not guaranteed a space for your performance.

- Commitment to Leaving No Trace of our presence is a fundamental aspect of Burn events.  We expect you to abide by/embody this as well

IMPORTANT: No advertising, brand names or promotion of individuals or organization can be associated with your art.  You're allowed to talk yourself up and make connections for outside sales of course, but this is not the place for marketing things.  Decommodification means you're making art for art's sake.

All Participants MUST purchase a ticket! We all create together, to raise funds for Canberra Burners, next year's Solstice & AWC. The event is created BY and FOR the people who attend, we all pay we all play - everyone, without exception, no matter how awesome the thing you're bringing.
