Distance Education Training through @ONE
Butte College is dedicated to quality online instruction.  To that end, the Distance Education Committee was awarded HEERF funds and is offering tuition reimbursements for faculty who complete an @ONE Course.  @ONE is the professional development team of the statewide CVC (California Virtual Campus).  @ONE provides training and professional development to support the effective use of digital tools and platforms to make California Community Colleges a nationally recognized leader in online teaching and learning. Funding from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office ensures that @ONE’s offerings are provided for a low cost ($85 for facilitated 4-week courses).   

We are using one-time HEERF funds, so this opportunity may not continue past this year. Reimbursements are limited, so be sure to complete this form as soon as you sign up for the @ONE class. 

In order to participate, you must:
  1. Complete this form.
  2. Sign up for an @ONE Course (You will need to pay the $85 registration fee up-front.  Butte will reimburse you once you have successfully passed the course). 
  3. Complete the @ONE Course by April 10, 2023.
  4. Submit your badge of completion to Suzanne Wakim by April 20, 2023. She will then provide the reimbursement paperwork to you.
