From 9/11 to COVID-19: Campaigning in the Wake of Two Decades of Bad News

Early 21st century America has faced three major challenges: 9/11 and the launch of two major wars that are still unresolved, the Global Fiscal Crisis, and the COVID-19 pandemic. While national crises often result in national unity, each of these three arguably helped exacerbate our continued polarization, as different partisan groups embraced different reactions. Our guest was one of the earliest to understand both the impact of these disruptive factors as well as the importance of disruptions in communications.

Arnon will be joined by Joe Trippi, Democratic Strategist & Host, That Trippi Show podcast.
