The New Trier Booster Club's mission is to enhance the New Trier High School experience by fostering Spirit, Sport and Tradition within the New Trier community. The NT Booster Club runs intramural sports programs (Night League, Spike League, Flag Football, Tennis, Golf, & Paddle) and works with the Athletic Department and coaches to raise money to fund facilities and equipment requests. Booster Benefit: The Booster Benefit is the Booster Club’s annual fundraising event. Committee members are responsible for planning and executing the May fundraiser, including securing auction donations, selling event tickets, planning entertainment and food, decorating for the event, etc.

Community Partners: The Community Partners committee develops an annual strategy to reach out to community organizations, individuals and businesses to solicit donations or opportunities for partnership. The committee determines how and when community partners will be recognized for their donation.

Spiritwear: The Spiritwear Committee designs, orders, and sells Spiritwear for the Booster Club at games (football, soccer, field hockey and basketball), Freshman Go-to-school night in the fall and After Academics in the Spring. The Committee works with the Junior Board on spiritwear design and handles all ordering, including Intramural merch.

Membership: The Membership Committee solicits NT community members to join the Booster Club. They communicate with the NT parents regarding the importance of joining the Booster Club and how their donation contributes to NT sports. This could be in writing or at the sports meetings throughout the seasons. The Committee also determines membership levels, incentives and merchandise for those who become members.

Bricks: The Booster Club Bricks committee manages brick sales and engraving. Bricks can be personalized to commemorate a favorite student, teacher, coach, fine arts group or team and then are installed at the New Trier Stadium.

Intramurals: The Booster Clubs partners with the Athletic Department to organize intramurals, including Night League (basketball), Spike League (volleyball), paddle and tennis, golf, and flag football. Over 1000 students participate in intramurals at New Trier.

Concessions: The Booster Club partners with the Athletic Department to ensure the concession stand is stocked and coordinates volunteers to sell snacks for school sponsored sporting events.

Coaches Lunch: As an appreciation to the New Trier coaches, the Booster Club plans a coaches lunch annually. The Coaches Lunch committee identifies a date, sends invitations and supplies the food. (please note this committee is already full)

Junior Board: The Junior Board works to advance the mission of the Booster Club. There are 30-40 students on the Junior Board who help with marketing, Intramurals, spiritwear and supporting the volunteer needs of the Booster Club. Members of this committee work closely with students, the Booster Club main board and the Athletic Department to meaningfully engage students. (please note this committee is already full)

Alumni: This committee interacts with the New Trier Alumni office to coordinate programming and outreach.

Social Media: The Booster Club has social media accounts where communication, pictures of sports and intramural events are posted along with captions. The Social Media Committee works with the Booster Club Junior Board to design ads for upcoming events and posts pictures during and after events.

Website: Much of the information about the Booster Club is on its website. The Website committee maintains the website with information about events/activities as well as links to registration

Print and NTPA Newsletter: This committee will be responsible for raising the profile and visibility of the Booster Club and the Junior Booster Board. It will compile brief summaries to be posted in the monthly NTPA Newsletter.

TV and Video: New this year is the TV and Video Committee who will be responsible for posting announcements, pictures (from social media), community partner promotion, etc on new TVs that will be in the new Gates Gym area. At the end of the year (or each season), a short video will be created celebrating athletics and intramurals.

Volunteer Recruitment and Coordination: This committee recruits volunteers from the NT community who want to be involved but are not on the Booster Club Board through promotional efforts such as setting up informational tables at NT events for parents. The Committee works closely with Spiritwear, Concessions, Membership, etc to ensure volunteer needs are met.
