Forensic Science Initiative Teacher Prep Program
We are delighted by your interest in Forensic Science in general and the NJIT FSI Teacher Prep Program in particular. Preference is given to high school teachers now teaching, or preparing to teach, our FRSC 201, Introduction to Forensic Science, course for dual enrollment credit. Additional requirements are listed in the application below. Consideration will be given to teachers of high school forensics courses to seniors.

The Program begins with a required 3-day NJ Forensic Science Education Conference on the NJIT campus. It is open to all interested educators.  For more information on the Conference, go to https://www.njit.edu/precollege/forensic-science-education-conference-0. The conference fee is waved for FSI Teacher Prep Program participants.

Please send two taught STEM lesson plans to me at the email address below.

If you are accepted in the program, you will receive a stipend.

We welcome questions:  Dr. Barbara Weller, Senior Director of Program Development and Forensic Science Initiative  weller@njit.edu
