Complete this form to apply to trial for the 2022 World Championships (St Omer, France) for the Senior Men's team. Please read through this section carefully before filling in all sections of the form.
NZCPA are unable to predict COVID restrictions such as open international borders and our ability to travel, Government advice against travelling, managed isolation, insurance etc. We will keep all players and management updated regularly but we cannot guarantee our ability to attend the Championships.
The closing date for applications is Friday 22nd April at 6pm.
Selections will take place at the National League A-grade finals in Auckland- 29th April-1st May.
Selected players will be expected to attend the training camp 7/8 May in Palmerston North.
Payment of a $100 application fee is required. Please pay into NZCPA Squad account: 02-0876-0048375-002 (see section further down this form).
PLEASE ENSURE that you do NOT owe any money to NZCPA and that your ledger is at $0. Most of these will have been cleared after Oceania was cancelled but if you do have any amounts outstanding, you MUST have a payment plan in place or clear your ledger BEFORE you apply for this campaign.
Approximate cost for this campaign is approximately $9,200.00 to attend World Champs, but NOT including uniform or camps. If there is any significant change to the budget, NZCPA will notify all players. NZCPA may apply for funding to help reduce these costs but there is no guarantee of funding applications being successful.
ALL players, coaches and managers are urged to receive the COVID-19 vaccination as it is likely to be the situation that airlines/ other countries/ events require all participants to be vaccinated and we would be unable to select players who would could not meet this condition of touring. Proof of vaccination must be shown to the Team Manager before selection.
