THS PLTW Biomed Application
Open to current 9th and 10th grade THS students.

In Project Lead the Way programs, students will work with the same tools used by professionals, engage in compelling, hands-on activities and work together to find solutions to problems. Highly motivated students who are interested in a biomedical or engineering field are encouraged to apply. The selection committee will use multiple criteria to evaluate candidates, including teacher recommendations, student essay, previous grades, and achievements.

Students in the PLTW programs will experience hands-on project based activities and problems that promote critical thinking skills. Students will become familiar with and explore multiple fields of biomedical science.  Write an essay that describes why you are interested in the Project Lead the Way program.  Be sure to address what makes you a good candidate, how you will contribute, and how you expect this program will benefit you.  Type your essay in the space below.

FOR STUDENTS: I am applying for consideration to the Tuscarora High School PLTW Biomedical Science  program and verify that I have completed the essay on my own.  I understand that completion of this application does not guarantee me acceptance into the program.  Depending on the number of qualified candidates, an interview may be necessary.  It is my intention to complete all four courses in the program.   I understand that once accepted, I cannot drop the program without permission from administration with extenuating circumstances.  Type your name below to indicate you agree to these terms.
