All participants in this program will ultimately need to enlist others to carry out their public policy advocacy campaign.
For that reason, we suggest giving some thought now to who you'd like to be part of a small team of people from your organization who will ultimately share responsibility for the success of your public policy advocacy work.
Ideally, your team will include whoever handles your external communications (email blasts, social media posts, etc.) as well as a few more people from your organization. We heartily encourage participation of non-staff people: volunteers, board members, donors, and clients can all be huge assets in public policy advocacy campaigns!
