NC Public Policy Advocacy Academy Application

This application provides a bit more information about the program and what it will require of participants - we encourage you to read the full application before filling it out. 

Program dates will be solidified based on availability of our participants; we anticipate starting no earlier than the week of February 27th and ending no later than the week of June 12th. 

Pay-What-You-Can Pricing for the Academy is $300 - $225 - $150. Accepted applicants will receive a registration link; no payment is required at this point.

How big is your organization?  *
"Big" can mean many things! We're interested in figuring out how much capacity you already have to carry out public policy advocacy in addition to the other things you do. Staff size, budget, regularly engaged volunteers, email list size, number of people you served last year, etc. - all of these are worth mentioning (as well as any other things we missed in this list!)
Who else from your organization do you anticipate participating in this program?  *
All participants in this program will ultimately need to enlist others to carry out their public policy advocacy campaign. 

For that reason, we suggest giving some thought now to who you'd like to be part of a small team of people from your organization who will ultimately share responsibility for the success of your public policy advocacy work. 

Ideally, your team will include whoever handles your external communications (email blasts, social media posts, etc.) as well as a few more people from your organization. We heartily encourage participation of non-staff people: volunteers, board members, donors, and clients can all be huge assets in public policy advocacy campaigns!
This program will require us to find a dedicated time to meet via Zoom for 90 minutes at least twice a month (roughly every other week). Which of the following times should work for you and your team?
Rather than arbitrarily choosing a meeting time that would likely exclude potential applicants, we are experimenting with listing the feasible meeting times in hopes of finding one that works for everyone, while also recognizing that we may need to leave out some excellent organizations. 

With this in mind, please indicate ALL the times that should work for you. We realize that you cannot foresee every possible contingency; we are looking for the times when you can make a good faith commitment to show up, and when you can reasonably expect most of your team to show up even someone has to skip due to a work commitment, family illness, or the like.
