Volunteer Application for National Permaculture Convergence, Hill End Activity Centre, Oxford
Volunteer Application Form for the 2020 Permaculture Convergence, September 11th - 13th. All volunteers must be 18+. Volunteers can work and attend all days or a selection of them.

Set-up Team members must be available from Wednesday September the 9th. Pack-down team members must be available on Sunday September 13th. Otherwise arrival by 9am on the day you're working is required in most cases.

 You will get a ticket to the event and all meals. Free access to the camping site is provided, bring your own tent, sleeping bag, mats and other materials that you might need. In some cases, dorm beds may be available.

We will be seeking around 25 volunteers for the event. Hours required for each role vary.

List of the different jobs:

* Site Team: We will be looking for people to help set up venue on the 4th-6th of September. We are also looking for some help clearing at the end of the event - on the 8th of September.
* Decor/Art: We need one or two sign painters to help us prepare signage and other materials for the event. This could be onsite or elsewhere.
* Stewards/General Helpers: As the event is located in different buildings, including dormitories, we will need stewards to assist people moving between spaces. Some help on information and reception areas may be needed.
* Cafe Staff: We are looking for volunteers to staff the cafe selling tea, coffee and snacks. Also a cafe manager.
* Kitchen - Preparing the room, serving food, cleaning and maybe helping to cook.
* Technical Support - Helping set up A/V Equipment prior to workshops/sessions and troubleshooting in general.
* Facilitation - Helping run plenary sessions and ensuring speakers/workshop leaders have their needs met.
* Childrens Area: We will need some volunteers to help manage the childrens activities (experience required).
* Parking : A rotation between volunteers will have to be made to look after the parking.
* Media Team: Photography, social media, and general assistance in making and gathering great content!
