ELBA COVID Reflections & Future Planning workshop
The current coronavirus crisis has had a huge impact on the charity and social sectors, with many having to adapt their services rapidly to ensure they continue to support their communities but also are still able to run. A year in, we are slowly opening up after lockdown 3, and many organisations are considering how to restructure, rebuild, and plan for an uncertain future. This situation has thrown up many new challenges and considerations for charities, with many having to consider a whole new way of working. We want to give organisations the opportunity to reflect on their obstacles and learnings from this year, and how they can use this to plan for an uncertain future.

The session is a 'reflection, problem-solving and planning' session. In partnership with corporate volunteers, this session is a chance for community organisations to:
1) Reflect on what has happened over the past few months and consider their current position
2) Assess current actions/needs and spent time prioritising these
3) Spend time developing a longer-term plan for the next few months

The volunteers will be divided into teams. The teams will work through a variety of interactive activities, facilitated by ELBA staff, to try to create an effective and practical plan that community partners can take away and implement. Volunteer teams will work collaboratively with their assigned community organisation to understand their priorities and needs and come up with their action plans.

Our session is taking place on Tuesday 15th June, 10am-12.30pm, which is open to all our community partners.
