WHAT IS PLAY STREETS MACON?A Play Street is a designated area where neighbors agree to temporarily close their street to through traffic, creating a safe space for play, community interaction, and socializing. It allows residents and businesses to reclaim their street for recreational activities, fostering a sense of togetherness and fun. This route was nominated by Main Street Macon and made possible through Bike Walk Macon's Downtown Challenge Grant from the Community Foundation of Central Georgia.
PLEASE NOTE:
Equipment, signage, or tables will not be provided to program partners. You are responsible for bringing everything that is required to successfully pull off your activity.
