SCCPTA is the Seminole County Council PTA Board. Our mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Each year SCCPTA selects Middle and High School Students to represent students on the County Council. The Student Representative will chair a committee of Middle and High School students who will work alongside other SCCPTA Committees as we fulfill our mission to advocate for all children.
Applicants for the Student Committee must be 13 years of age or older. The Student Committee will meet at a time determined by the Student Committee Chair.
Applicants for the Student Committee Chair must be a Junior or Senior. The Chair leads the Student Committee meetings and represents the Student Committee at the SCCPTA Executive Board Meetings the 1st Monday of the month at 6pm. Applicants for Student Committee Chair must participate in a 10-15 minute interview as part of the application process.
Parent/Guardian must consent to student participation.
