Workspace Client-side encryption (CSE) will allow a Super Admin to manage the encryption keys used for i) data at rest in the cloud as uploaded to Drive using the "Encrypt and upload" feature, in an encrypted Docs document, in an encrypted Sheets spreadsheet, or in an encrypted Slides presentation and ii) Media available through Google Meet (collectively the "Test Product").

Setup instructions for this Beta are available through the customer documentation from Google and participating third-party key management service providers, which will be shared prior to start of Beta.

Specific Test Terms. Testing for this Beta may be performed using production data, production users, and production systems. Please note, however, that data managed by customer keys may not be able to be restored if the key is lost or deleted. Your keys are managed at your discretion and at your own risk.

Use of a third-party key management service and identity provider may be required to use this feature. Any data processed by and any service provided by the third-parties are subject to their terms. This includes service availability and service level agreements (SLAs).

In order to fulfill Customer's instruction to develop the Test Product, usage metrics (e.g., the number of CSE documents and CSE users) will be collected solely to provide, test, analyze, develop, and improve the Test Product. Due to the functionality of the Test Product, Google cannot and will not analyze the content of encrypted Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

This Pre-General Availability Test Application (the “Test Application”), is incorporated into and made part of the Workspace Agreement, the Workspace Services Schedule to the Google Cloud Master Agreement, Workspace for Education Agreement, or other applicable agreement governing your use of Workspace Services (the "Agreement'). By submitting this Test Application, you will be enrolling your domain in the Pre-General Availability Program for the Test Product. Your use of the Test Product is subject to the "Pre-General Availability Offerings Terms" section of the Workspace Service Specific Terms (available at https://gsuite.google.com/terms/service-terms or a successor URL)." By submitting this Test Application, you represent and warrant that you have full power and authority to enter into the terms in this Test Application.
