Beginning Market Farmer Series - CLASS 2: Pest and Weed Management
Join Central State University and South Side Family Farms for a series of on-farm classes on market farming. Classes will cover topics essential for operating a small-scale market farm using sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices, including bed preparation, planting, irrigating, soil health, integrated pest and disease management, harvesting, marketing and season extension.

Each class will take place on farm and will feature hands-on learning opportunities and on-site demonstrations of growing techniques.

This class will be held on June 21 from 4-6pm and will cover weed and pest management in the market garden.
