Can we find support in the Bible for the democratic form of government? Two sessions, first one on opposition to (or ignorance of) democracy in the Bible, the other on ideas in the Bible that support democracy (without mentioning it).

Rev. Dave Hunter, a member of MLUC and a semi-retired UU minister, is a graduate of Princeton University, the Harvard Law School, and Wesley Theological Seminary (where he was the co-recipient of the biblical interpretation prize in 2003).  Dave and his wife, the Rev. Kerry Mueller (who were married here at MLUC in 1980), are the part-time ministers of the UU Fellowship of Pottstown.
